CANADA. Dominion of Canada. 2 Dollars, 1923. DC-26j. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Group 3, black seal. Series T-V. Printed signatures of Campbell & W. Sellar. Portrait of Edward, the Prince of Wales at center. An appealing high-grade example of this 2 Dollar note, which displays light green underprints, with bright paper and a darkly inked primary design standing out on the face. The reverse of the note displays arms at center, with the bank name at top and denomination at bottom, with "2" counters flanking the arms at left and right. The reverse displays an intricately lathed design in an olive-green ink. This example is most likely missing in this grade level from even the more advanced Canadian paper money collections, and we expect to see spirited bidding on this lot. PMG Pop 4/1 Finer.
