An incredibly alluring and intoxicating proof issue, this short-lived three-year type only offers one year for proof issues, and all are VERY RARE. This particular piece offers exceptional brilliance and luster radiating throughout, along with surfaces that highly pleasing and problem free. In the opinion of this cataloger, this magnificent specimen appears to be somewhat conservatively graded and, when one considers that it is housed in an older generation "soap box" holder, the standards applied at that time would lend credence to this opinion.
