Issued during the reign of the Prince-Archbishop Leopold Anton Eleutherius von Firmian, this EXCESSIVELY RARE and likely UNIQUE gold medal--a massive piece at the weight of 24 ducats--stands unrivaled in terms of rarity, and the same can easily be said regarding overall quality and craftsmanship. Only exhibiting a slight degree of friction marks on the surfaces, the high points are as bold and defined as ever, and a good deal of lustrous brilliance remains virtually throughout. The fur pattern on the stole of the prince-archbishop is exceedingly fine, and the amount of care and detail given to the cityscape on the reverse is rather majestic.
