有利银行试色样钞10元，无日期，应为1912年版别，PMG 62，有黄，极罕见的早期试色样票，近年市场出现过数枚类似版别，但Macdonald签名却是绝无仅有的，因此可断言是1912年版别，其他试色样票都是1930年后或配以1930年后的签名，珍罕无比。The Mercantile Bank of India, $10, colour trial, no printed dated but liley to be 1912 as the printed siganture is Macdonald, green and black, sampan, houses and bridge near lakeside at centre, reverse purple-brown and black, Mercury with winged helmet at centre,(Pick 236cts), PMG 62 (Toned). An extremely rare early colour trial. Althouugh a very few have come out to the market in recent years the catalogue is quite certain that this is the only one example bearing the Macdonald signature (and hence should be dated 1912). Most of the other notes are either dated 1930 or bear the signature from that date. Possibly unique!
