1999年中国人民银行第五版人民币100元正面样票一组7枚，1. 单面正面：白纸上用红色印刷，国徽在左上方，银行名称为“中国人民银行”，右侧为毛泽东像2. 与1. 类似，有中文字「100元」3. 与1. 类似，但没有国徽，左下角附近有「100」4. 与上述类似，合併1.、2.及3.之样式5. 与4. 相似，但用上更深的红色墨水，印刷厂亦用铅笔写出这种颜色变化6. 背面设计亦以单一形式，用橄榄绿色墨水印于水印纸上，人民大会堂位于中央，不同字迹的银行名称于右上方7. 近乎完整的双面印刷品，正面大致完整，没有编号，而背面则缺少6. 中所示的设计元素PMG 63EPQ至66EPQ，每一枚均展示钞票设计过程，难得可遇的一组，意义非凡。The Peoples Bank of China, 5th series renminbi, 1999, group of 7 uniface progressive proofs for 100 yuan:1. uniface obverse: red printing on white paper, National Emblem at upper left, bank title ZHONGGUO RENMIN YINHANG in Chinese and portrait of Mao at right, 2. similar to the above with the YIBAI YUAN (100 yuan) in Chinese within rosette, 3. similar to 1. but without the National Emblem and with 100 near lower left4. similar to the above but with most of the main features present and virtually a combination of 1, 2 and 3. 5. similar to 4. but in deeper red . This colour change is also stated in the printers annotation in pencil. 6. uniface printing of the reverse in olive on WATERMARKED paper, Great Hall of the People at centre, bank title in different scripts upper right. 7. a near complete set with double sided printing, the obverse appears to be virutally complate without the serial numbers and the reverse missing the design elements shown in 6. A highly desirable near complete proof!(Pick 901pp), graded from 63EPQ to 66EPQ. A magnificent set with each note being a different stage of printing and an opportunity to acquire a fairly comprehensive group of prototypes for this famous design.
