Fr. 747. 1918 $2/$1 Federal Reserve Bank Note. Boston. PMG Very Fine 20. Dual Denomination Error. A remarkable item which is will highlight any advanced collection of error banknotes it enters. For this important error type only three Federal Reserve districts are currently known to have produced this "Three Dollar," 1918 error. Boston, New York & Chicago are the three with known errors. Currently only four confirmed serial numbers are known for the Friedberg number 747, and they are all consecutive. The erroneous Green Eagle reverse on this 1918 two shows well with nice ink tones and pleasing centering as well. Overall an incredibly rare item which very seldomly will appear at public sale.
