GA-117. Georgia. September 10, 1777. $4. PCGS Currency Extremely Fine 45 Apparent. Repaired Ink Erosion in Signature. Solid number 111. Signed by C.E. Chevalier, W. Hohendorf, William OBryen, Nehemiah Wade, and Richard Wylly. Orange seal. Bold stag seen at lower right. This notes only detraction, if it can be noted as such, is that the signatures were so boldly inked as to require some light ink erosion repair. The obligation states for the "Support of the Continental Troops, and other Expenses of Government." We sold this same note for over $1,000 in our 2004 Anniversary sale and we would expect no less today.
