1882-O Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS). CAC. Brilliant frosty surfaces support a sharp strike and provide outstanding visual appeal. The New Orleans Mint struck 6,090,000 silver dollars in 1882, most examples of which were either placed into circulation during the 19th century or remained in government storage until the Treasury Department releases of 1962 to 1964. With hundreds of thousands of coins coming out of hiding during the early 1960s, the 1882-O is widely regarded as one of the most available Morgan dollars in Mint State.
