1872 Indian Cent. Bold N. MS-63 RB (PCGS). Tan-rose patina is boldest in and around the central obverse, the peripheries on both sides retaining plenty of original mint orange color. A few out of the way carbon spots on the obverse are the most significant impediments to a higher numeric grade. The scarce and conditionally challenging 1872 is one of the more eagerly sought early date bronze Indian cents at all levels of Mint State preservation.
