1793年飘逸长发美分 ANACS F 15
1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Chain Reverse. S-3. Rarity-3-. AMERICA, Without Periods. Fine-15 Details--Edge Bumps, Scratched (ANACS). There is plenty of "coin" here to tempt the type collector seeking a somewhat more affordable example of this classic one year design type from the first year of cent production in the United States Mint. On the obverse the date is bold, Libertys portrait is well outlined, and the word LIBERTY is fully legible, if a tad soft. Softness is also noted for a few of the letters in the legend on the reverse, but it is fully legible, and the central design elements on that side are expectably sharp. Several thin, shallow planchet voids on the reverse are as made, the ANACS qualifiers concerning a number of edge bumps around both sides, as well as fine pin scratches in the obverse and reverse fields. Apart from the flan flaws the in hand appearance is actually quite smooth at most viewing angles, and this coin is sure to find many willing buyers in todays highly competitive numismatic market.
