1793 Liberty Cap Half Cent. Head Left. C-2. Rarity-3. VG Details--Environmental Damage (PCGS). With all major design elements at least partially discernible, and most quite bold, this coin has much to offer the budget-minded type collector. The full reverse design is appreciable, in fact, and for the obverse we note a clear date and good outlining to Libertys portrait. Dark ruddy-brown and crimson-red surfaces are rough and pitted overall to explain the PCGS qualifier. The historic first year 1793 half cent is also eagerly sought in all grades as the only Head Left issue in the Liberty Cap series.
