Undated Contemporary Counterfeit English Halfpenny. George III Type--Obverse Brockage--Extremely Fine. 81.2 grains. A sharply impressed brockage strike showing the normal clarity of detail toward the peripheries, but a bit of weakness at the exact center, as is usual. Some of the letters in the legend seem to be punched over other letters, such as the V and second E. Deep olive brown and glossy, with just a hit of planchet.
