CHINA. Sinkiang. 20 Cash, AH 1352 (1933). PCGS AU-55 Brown Gold Shield.CL-XJ.61; KM-Y-E38.1. A sharply detailed coin, struck over an earlier issue that is still lightly visible on the reverse. It exhibits nicely original surfaces and endowed with an even, dark brown patina. Compare to a similar example--also a PCGS AU-55--which realized a total of $5,280 in our May 2020 Hong Kong auction (lot 42380).
