CHINA. Hupeh. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), ND (1909-11). NGC MS-64.L&M-187; K-45; KM-Y-131; WS-0882. Variety with incuse swirl on fiery pearl and without dot within Manchu script. A superb near-Gem of the type that features a strong strike, bright luster and very few marks. Light, sweeping orange tone adds to the character on both sides with some deeper concentrations of richer color around some of the raised designs.
