CHINA. Chihli (Pei Yang). 50 Cents, Year 23 (1897). PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, AU Details Gold Shield.L&M-445; K-187; KM-Y-64.1; WS-0612. Triangular eyes variety. A VERY RARE type, this example does exhibit some light cleaning, but is nevertheless starting retone with a pleasing overall color. Highly desirable despite the details designation, and assuredly worth of a strong bid.
