CHINA. Zhou Dynasty. Warring States Period. State of Qi. Three Character Knife Money, ND (ca. 400-220 B.C.). VERY FINE.Hartill-4.7s; DCD-397; S-45. Weight: 33.66 gms. Obverse: "Qi Fa Hua" (Qi legal money); Reverse: "Ri". A decently preserved example with mottled light green and brown patina exhibiting minor earthen deposits. Signs of fairly aggressive cleaning now toned mentioned for accuracy. An interesting ripple effect is noticed around the middle character on the obverse, close inspection is advised.
