A VERY RARE and popular issue, brilliant and attractive with hard mirrored fields and frosted cameo devices. Inscribed on edge with "62", with corresponding certificate of authenticity serial # 62, and sold with original display box. Free of tone, haze or fog.Often times the translation of Qilin from Chinese to English is "Unicorn", but this is somewhat misleading as they can be found depicted with one or two horns. In modern times a separate word "Dujiaoshou" is used in Chinese for "Unicorn" and though a number of Chinese mythical creatures can be found depicted with one horn a Qilin with one horn would be called a "one-horned Qilin" in Chinese not a "Unicorn".
