This is the earliest-dated evidence of any design for the newly established Chartered Bank of India, Australia & China, todays Standard Chartered Bank.At present it is the only recorded example of this note in private hands, with no issued, cancelled, or specimen notes being known.The specimen example illustrated by Boon as his KNB5 is indicated to be part of the Hong Kong Museum of History collection.
