This company was to construct a road that connected La Porte and Plymouth. A relatively short stint in business with its existence roughly from 1853 to 1857. This note was originally part of an uncut sheet of $1-$1-$2-$5 in the 1990 ABNCo Archives sale. We sold this same individual proof for over $1,500 in our 2012 ANA sale. Exceedingly rare as a proof and, at present, believed to be unique. A bold proof.
