Sapphire, golden brown and plum patina appears most colorful under a light source. Nicely struck and without notable blemishes. This is the only readily obtainable die marriage of the Proof 1852 half cent, identifiable by doubling to the letter T in CENT on the reverse. Even so, B-2 is very scarce in an absolute sense.
