Hardbound as a single volume in quarter brown leather with green cloth boards. Five double rulings on the spine divide it into six panels, the second and fourth lettered in gilt with the title and volumes. At the base, somewhat faded, is the name Ed M. Lee. Page ends are speckled on all sides. An occasional pencil mark is noted inside, but the volumes are quite clean for the most part with excellent integrity to the binding. Some editions are a bit toned, while others are fairly bright. The spine is worn, with slight chipping at the head and foot. Bound by A. H. Warren of Pasadena, California, whose yellow tag is at the lower inside front cover.From the D. Brent Pogue Library.
