GREAT BRITAIN. Anne Coronation Bronze Medal, 1702. PCGS MS-63 Brown Gold Shield. MI-228/4; Eimer-390. By J. Croker. Obverse: Diademed and draped bust left; Reverse: Anne (as Pallas-Athena) standing right, holding shield and hurling thunderbolt at two-headed and four-armed serpentine monster (James III and Louis XIV) to right, holding rocks and clubs. In the opinion of this cataloger, a bit conservatively graded, as this attractive piece offers charming surfaces and incredible lustrous brilliance. Alluring cobalt-brown hues with tremendous eye appeal are wholly evident.
