Obverse: Laureate head of Janus, with curved truncation; Reverse: Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter, in quadriga right driven by Victory; ROMA in relief within tablet in exergue. Quite deeply toned and well struck on a compact flan, with the noted edge smoothing--not at all distracting--likely emanating from use in jewelry.
