MEXICO. 8 Reales, 1863-Ce ML. Real de Catorce Mint. NGC AU-58. KM-377.1; DP-Ce01. A fully original looking and lustrous survivor of this ever popular and sought after mint displaying smooth satiny surfaces and a nice cartwheel effect. The central devices are a bit on the weak side as is commonly encountered with this issue almost not worth mentioning, but was done so for the sake of accuracy. This highly attractive example displays a soft golden-grey tone throughout with hints of iridescent coloration amongst the devices that pop out when tilted in the light.
