Exhibiting rich old cabinet tone displaying smooth charcoal patination in the protected areas highlighted by a mottled iridescent sheen. The open fields of the obverse show signs of being cleaned long ago now subdued by light attractive flint gray tone. Despite its shortcomings, a handsome representative of this large format 17th Century silver coin. Certain to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
