1923年12月23日由广州阿芳影像摄影院(Ah Fong)摄影的罕见近百年广州长堤及沙面全景照片各一幅; 照片展现了上世纪二十年代初广州长堤一带的繁华景像，洋式建筑鳞次排列; 由照片左面开始可以找到粤海关大楼，邮政大楼，新大新百货公司(为当时全中国最高的建筑，即今南方大厦位置)，省港码头，平安旅店，东亚大酒店，先施公司，新海珠酒店等; 而沙面全景照片 (在上部有两处长约分别为19cm 及14cm的破裂) 则可以见到沙面岛沿珠江南岸景緻，绿树林荫，当中深藏著很多洋房建筑，成为广州的租界，主要的领事馆和政治、金融组织都建立在此，照片中间的梧州号客轮则是经常来往省港两地主要客轮之一; 两照片上均印有阿芳影像摄影院的广告，照片异常清晰，长堤上建筑中招牌大多可读，尤其难能可贵. 注: 广州阿芳影像摄影院(Ah Fong)由1895年出生于南海西樵赤坎村的陈衍桐创立，为当年广州有名气的摄影馆之一，留下了许多优秀而珍贵的影像资料. 香港的荷理活摄影院亦由他创办.PhotographChina1923 (23 Dec.)
