Obverse: Helmeted head of Roma right; Reverse: Hispania standing right, with shield on back, holding two spears over shoulder and presenting palm frond to Pompeian soldier, armed with sword, standing left on prow. Some minor off-centering--typical in the issue--is noted, but this alluring specimen nevertheless offers a deep cabinet tone and solid detail. A great representation from the son of Pompey the Great.
