Deep steel gray surfaces, with some darker toning and hints of iridescence at the peripheries, along with some underlying brilliance.<p><em>Serving as the Archbishop of Munich for 35 years, von Faulhaber saw Germany through the end of the Empire in World War I and the Weimar period, to the rise and fall of Nazism and World War II.
