Lot of (7) SC-97.2. South Carolina. 1775. 50 Pounds. Poor to Good. A grouping of promissory 50 Pounds notes, with grades ranging from Poor to Good. A scarce type, and all are found with Henry Middletons signature. Seen with still bold, ornate design the reverse of all. All are seen with paper damage, pen cancellations, and ink burns.
