(3), 4-340 pp. Boarded typographical depictions of bank notes organized 3 by 10 to a page.Distinguishing Features: The Sullivan Type O and Type P versions are nearly identical. They are differentiated by comparing the note descriptions as discussed in the previous description.Notes: The copy in the Stacks-Kolbe Ford Library Sale Part I, 2004, lot 594 had a supplement from Hodges Journal of Finance and Bank Reporter tipped in at the rear. The Journal was a monthly publication and regularly published supplements to the less frequently issued Bank Note Safe-Guard. The copy in the Kolbe-Bass Library Sale, 2000, lot 327 included two tipped in supplements from Hodgess Journal of Finance and Bank Reporter. The extensive collection of Hodges Journal of Finance and Bank Reporter acquired by our consignor from the Kolbe & Fanning 2013 New York Sale, January 12, 2013, lot 225 included many of these supplements within the publications.Handsomely bound like most of this amazing selection of fifteen of eighteen researched types. Not as brightly paged as some of the others, but without faults. Front wrapper has some wear which would is typical of this delicate paper.
