1883-CC Liberty Head Double Eagle. AU-55 (NGC). The 1883-CC is a moderately available Carson City twenty with possibly as many as a thousand pieces extant in all grades. It is one of the better-struck CC twenties, as seen here, and each side displays traces of reddish-gold patina.
