1943-S Lincoln Cent. MS-68 (PCGS). CAC. A glittering bright, mildly prooflike Superb Gem with a bold strike and essentially perfect surfaces. Scarcer in all grades than the 1943 or 1943-D issues. After the one year steel production issue, the cent returned to a bronze alloy in 1944, with the copper reclaimed from spent cartridge casings.
