1914-S Lincoln Cent. MS-64 RD (PCGS). Light sandy-gold surfaces brighten to more of a pinkish-apricot color as the coin dips into a light. Satin to modestly semi-reflective in finish with a sharp strike to virtually all design elements. Although often overshadowed by the 1914-D, the 1914-S is a scarce semi-key date Lincoln cent in its own right that can be challenging to locate in any Mint State grade. In full Red, as here, the present near-Gem will be eagerly sought by specialists.
