1786 Connecticut Copper. Miller 5.4-O.1, W-2590. Rarity-2. Mailed Bust Left. VF-30 (PCGS). Pale golden-brown on both sides. Obverse and reverse surfaces lightly granular, not disturbingly so. Obverse lightly flawed across base of effigys bust, reverse more heavily flawed at the upper right border, reaching in to touch the back of the seated figures head. Some lighter, more shallow flaws also visible at the center on the latter side. Exact die states uncertain, the obverse soft on the effigys chest, and at the border above the head; reverse appears largely perfect save for some disturbance below the letters IN in INDE.
