1760 Voce Populi Halfpenny. Nelson-9, W-13280. Rarity-3. EF-45 (PCGS). Warmly patinated in medium brown, glints of olive-russet are also evident in the protected areas around the design elements. The strike is well centered for the type, even though the reverse border is through the base of the date and the top of the letters HIB in HIBERNIA. Softly defined in the centers, also typical of the type, although with only light wear the overall design is fully appreciable. Microscopic pitting is easily overlooked, the in hand appearance smooth and free of worrisome blemishes. Certainly a pleasing Choice EF to represent this Colonial era type.
