Undated (ca. 1862) United States Arsenal Muling. With Sun / Without Sun. By J.A. Bolen. Copper. Musante JAB M/E-1. MS-64BN (PCGS). 27.8 mm. 11.3 grams. Reflective medium brown surfaces with pleasant steel blue, pale green, rose and gold overtones. Minor spots hidden in the building. A silver strike is known with coin alignment of the dies, while this one is in medal alignment. The date given is the date the dies are known to have been engraved, but not necessarily the time of striking. However, some or all were likely made close to the time of the cutting of the dies.
