A marvelous colonial 8 Escudos of Colombia, which couples sparkling golden luster with a full strike. VERY RARE in this elevated Mint State grade with just one example at the MS62+ grade at NGC with a single example graded finer. For comparison sake, the El Dorado specimen of this date (which was not the overdate variety), which was graded MS-61 by PCGS, realized $3,240 when we sold it in January 2019.
