PAMPHYLIA. Perga. AR Tetradrachm (16.81 gms), Dated CY 28 (194/3 B.C.). NGC EF, Strike: 4/5 Surface: 5/5. Pr-2942. Struck in the name and types of Alexander III (the Great) of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; KH (date) in left field. A minor die shift is noted on the reverse, making the reading of the date difficult, though not impossible. The obverse, however, is centered perfectly and struck rather boldly.
