Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding scepter and eagle; monogram in left field. Though displaying some roughness, an interesting issue struck under one of Alexanders general, Ptolemy, who would come to rule over the province of Egypt. Ptolemy established a dynasty that would last for nearly 300 years, culminating with Cleopatra VIIs suicide in 30 B.C.
