TIBET: Hsuan Tung, 1909-1911, AE ¼ sho, year 1 (1909), Y-B7, YZM-630/631, two syllables of the legend in the upper trapezium read shon thong (Tibetan transcription of [Emperor] Xuan Tong) separated by a small vertical stroke, legend in lower trapezium reads: zho i 4/1 ("1/4 of the sho"), PCGS graded VF35. In the Tibetan language fractions are written with the denominator placed above and the numerator below which is the opposite to the Western way of writing fractions.
