Circa 1876 Lords Prayer medalet by George Soley. Musante GW-926, Baker-651. Brass. MS-66 (PCGS).13.5 mm. Intense violet and orange in the obverse field, while the reverse is rosy orange. Highly prooflike. Reported in Rulau-Fuld to have been produced in the early 1890s and sold as souvenirs at the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago for 25 cents. Musante placed them earlier, but it is certainly possible that they were distributed at the Centennial Exposition or, even, both fairs. This is the Musante plate.Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897.
