Circa 1876 Boys and Girls of America medal by George H. Lovett. Fourth obverse. Musante GW-846, Baker-A418. White Metal. MS-63 (PCGS).27.9 mm. Brilliant and lustrous. The obverse appears grainy, but this is due to extensive rust or spalling on the die and is as made. This is not the Musante plate piece, but the one imaged therein shares this characteristic. The flan is a little wavy.Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897.
