1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar. O-131, T-9. Rarity-4+. Two Leaves. VF-25 (PCGS).Pleasing pewter gray surfaces with a tinge of pale olive evident as the coin rotates under a light. The lower left obverse is a bit soft with the border nearly indistinct, but otherwise we note bold outline detail to the design elements in all areas. Smooth in hand with strong eye appeal for a mid grade half dollar of this early U.S. Mint type. Tompkins Die Stage 1/3.From the E. Horatio Morgan Collection.
