Fr. 1235. 5 Cent. Second Issue. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.This is the only 5 cent fractional note that was printed on fiber paper. The margins and centering are somewhat better than what we see typically, as oftentimes there is one tight, or even trimmed, margin. This is precisely why gem and near-gem examples are so difficult to find. PMG has graded only three at the 64 EPQ grade level and one 66 EPQ above the current offering. In our Ford XIX sale, we sold a lovely Choice AU for over $1,000. This PMG Choice Unc 64 EPQ is the finest example we have sold.
