CHINA (PEOPLE S REPUBLIC): AR kilogram bi-metallic medal, Shenyang mint, 2015, PAN-657a, 100mm diameter, Silver Panda Series, struck to commemorate the Moon Festival and is the first Panda to feature a night time scene, includes the pamphlet for this coin and the certificate of authenticity serial #1009; this example is sharply struck displaying an interesting tri-finish effect with frosted cameo devices, satiny central fields and brilliant flashy proof fields in the outer ring, mintage of only 2,000 pieces, NGC graded PF70 UC, ex Jerry D. Williams Collection. This piece was issued in commemoration of the Chinese Moon Festival and includes gold recovered from a NASA vehicle that spent five years in orbit around the Earth.
