Coins include copper and brass Empire, Fukien, Kiangsi, Chekiang, and others, with one brass Republic type, two struck over Korean 5 Mun pieces. Interesting mix of workmanship quality, with several legends garbled and unintelligible in both Chinese and English. Three are very similar to examples plated in "The Comprehensive Catalog of Chinese Copper Coins" By Duan HongGang published 2007. A fascinating study group perfect for the avid student of contemporary monetary history. Several have been cleaned, scratched and/or have environmental damage.
