Struck in the name and types of Alexander III (the Great) of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, helmet right above ΔA; monogram below throne. Lightly toned and well centered, this piece was overstruck on an uncertain type and features a few minor flan flaws in the field on the reverse.
