An impressive silver medal struck to commemorate the Venetian victories over the Turks in Athens, Castel Tornese, Castelnovo, Corinth, Lepanto, Mistra, and Patras. The obverse features angel-supported cartouches of Morosini as well as his allies General Otto Wilhelm von Konigsmark and Governor Girolamo Corner of Dalmatia. The legend: TERROR / TURCARUM to left and right. The reverse displays six oval images of the captured fortresses along with the date 1687 below.
