Obverse: Laureate bust right, with slight drapery; Reverse: Pax standing left, with foot set upon head of Dacian, holding branch and cornucopia. Though featuring some light smoothing in the fields, this example offers a strong and boldly struck portrait of Trajan. Deep maroon-brown surfaces, with some lighter dusty highlights.
