CAC.The obverse features Barbers Seated Liberty to left with liberty pole and cap, shield with LIBERTY in raised letters on a draped ribbon, 13 stars around, date below. The reverse features the regular-issue quarter dollar die of the date. A beautiful and radian example with mahogany patina and considerable neon iridescence across each side. Blooms of magenta mix with electric blue in an glow that is most intense across the obverse. The fields are watery and reflective, working to emphasize the more satiny and well struck elements at center. Well-preserved and captivating to examine under a light. It is the very finest example graded by PCGS in this category.
